Love has once again found its way to “Weeds” actress Mary Louis Parker. Mary, who is addicted of making headlines, is in news coz of her new love interest. This f***ing bitch has been well know for her bold nude scenes. I think she has been fed up posing nude and now desires to do something creative. And musician Charlie Mars is her tool for that.

Let’s have a more profound look into the matter. Mary has been spotted dating a much younger musician Charlie Mars these days. Mary is of 45, whereas Charlie is just 35 years old. It is being said that their love story is in progress since June this year. In June, Mary was In LA in order to attend Emmy awards celebration.

But it’s not like they met this year. They had been in touch and were rumored to be in love since the last year when Mary appeared in his music video for the song “Listen to the Dark side” last year.

Mary Louis Parker has been known for her love interests. She dated actor Billy Crudup. She even had son William Atticus Parker with him. Then she dated actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Mary met Jeffrey on the set of “Weeds”. They dated for about two years, and now it’s Charlie.

Mary is well known for her portrayal of Nancy Botwin on the Showtime’s Weeds. Nancy is an affectionate, compassionate, and a happy mom. Everything in her life was going great until her husband was alive. But when his husband died suddenly, her life took a U turn. Then to uphold the housing standard of living to which she was used to, Nancy went into the hazardous field of marijuana trade. She was often shown meeting head-on new challenges.

Her portrayal had been widely appreciated all around the globe. This is the reason why she is at the peak of stardom and that’s why she never feels afraid to make experiments in her life.

As a pot-dealing mom on Weeds, Mary-Louise Parker’s character is faced with a variety of ethical dilemmas. But luckily for Mary-Louise’s children, off-screen, the mom of two knows right from wrong.

“My character’s the worst parent, but I guess she’s doing the best she can with what she has,” Mary-Louise tells new magazine Observer Playground.

“It’s not an example to follow, I can say that much.”

Single mom to William Atticus, 5 ½, with ex Billy Crudup and Caroline ‘Ash’ Aberash, 3, adopted in 2007, Mary-Louise knows her priorities rest with family first, before work and even dating.

“Even though I would love to have dinner with this person or this person, it’s not as important to me as putting my kids to bed,” she says.

Though linked with actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan earlier this year, the actress is now single, and focused on her children first.

Though Mary-Louise began her acting career as a teen, she hopes her children won’t follow in her footsteps — at least for now.

“They aren’t going into any ‘biz’ while they’re children,” she says. “Show business is still a business and those children are still working, essentially. I believe in working, but not working when you’re a child!”

Nancy finally gets her wish: a non-shady, American obstetrician. Her name will be Dr. Audra Kiston and she’ll be played by a familiar face: Alanis Morisette kicks off a multiple-episode arc tonight on the Showtime hit.

In an interview with USA Today, the singer goes into detail about what attracted her to the role and what’s in store for Kiston this season… On becoming a fan of Weeds: “Weeds was my solace and respite in the back of the bus on tour. I was in the middle of detoxing at the time, and it was my replacement addiction for food.”

On Kitson’s interaction with Nancy: “Nancy is in a pickle, and Audra helps her outside of what typically would be allowed in a hospital… She’s really drawn to the drama.” Justin Kirk (Andy) also spoke on his character’s connection to Audra: “I think it’s fair to say that on the surface of things, Andy doesn’t seem like someone who has (it) together to the degree she might, being a doctor and all that. It’s a rocky road at first. It is a bit of a struggle for Andy to nail it down, as it were.”

Let’s hope that Jennifer Jason Leigh wasn’t simply another woman that Andy banged (on a washing machine, in this case). The actress was hilarious and ideally suited as Nancy’s sister during her two episode run on Weeds. Will we see her again?

Hopefuily, says series creator Jenji Kohan.

“We loved having Jennifer on the show and were dazzled by her performance and her chemistry with our cast. We have no idea when she’ll be back, but we’d love to have her return if our story and her schedule align. Fingers crossed.”

Meanwhile, another big guest star will debut next week, on the episode titled “Van Nuys.” Alanis Morisette comes aboard as Nancy’s new obstetrician.

Weeds - Casting News

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

July 13 will be a lucky day for sexy Latina Kate del Castillo (PBS’s American Family). That’s the date she joins the cast of Showtime’s Weeds, playing Pilar Guzman, who drives a wedge into Nancy’s (Mary Louise Parker) relationship with her unborn baby’s father, Esteban (Demian Bichir). The Mexican actress gave TV Guide Magazine the lowdown on the new character while hanging out at a Los Angeles dogo park with her mini pinscher, Lola.

Congratulations on Weeds. Some of us remember you from American Family. Was there ever any pot smoking on that?
Kate: Only the actors.

Awesome! How long’s your run on Weeds?
Kate: I already shot three episodes (6, 8 and 9) and I think my next one is going to be the last one of the season.

What’s the role?
Kate: I play Pilar Guzman. She’s a classy, powerful, strong woman who is going to be shaking up the relationship between Nancy and Esteban. She’s a wealthy woman who inherited a lot of money.

I’ve heard she’s a drug lord.
Kate: Yes, kind of. I think this is the first time in five seasons that Mary-Louise’s character will have to deal with a bad woman – and I don’t necessarily mean drug dealing. At first, I don’t even look at her. I don’t like the relationship she has with Esteban – for business reasons.

Is Weeds shown in your native Mexico?
Kate: Now they’re showing the fourth season and everyone loves it.

You are also starring in an online telenovela for Univision.com.
Kate: Yes. It’s called Vidas Cruzadas, which means Crossed Life. There are 15 episodes that are between five and seven minutes each – starting in August. They look like little movies. The theme is artificial insemination. My character has had it with men and wants to be a mom as soon as possible, so she goes and gets artificially inseminated and then the next day meets the love of her life.

Would you ever get artificially inseminated?
Kate: I thought about it, but I think I’d rather adopt.

Until then you have little Lola.
Kate: Oh yes.. she keeps me very busy.

Weeds - Justin Kirk + Spoilers

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

With Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) knocked up with a drug lord’s son, the D.A. out to get her, and Celia (Elizabeth Perkins) stuck in Mexico with no apparent way out, this season looks bleak for the Ren Mar-via-Agrestic clan.

“We’ve become a pretty bleak show, which I like,” says Justin Kirk, who plays Andy Botwin. “I think it’s kind of fun. I don’t see a lot of hope, but we do have another season, so I’m guessing we’re not going down in a hail of bullets any time soon.”

No hail of bullets, maybe, but a ton of personal drama goes down as the season unfolds, and Justin was kind enough to fill us in a bit…

BefEditor: Articleore we get to Weeds, what made you decide to do the University of Andy webisodes?
Last season, we had this Good Morning Agrestic fake public access show online and that did really well, so the marketing peeps came up with this idea to have me in character teaching different things in five-minute episodes. We have five up now and did 12 total, including “How to Start a Band,” “How to Satisfy a Woman,” “How to Survive a Bear Attack” and others.

Which is your favorite?

The one with Kevin Nealon: “How to Score with Foreign Girls.” Anything with Kevin is hilarious.

Everyone’s talking about Alanis Morissette’s seven-episode stay on Weeds. Do Andy and her character, Dr. Audra Kitson (for more info, click here), become boyfriend-girlfriend?
Ah, it’s spoilers you want. I don’t even tell my mother this stuff. I’ll tell you the truth: At this point, she’s only shot a couple of episodes, maybe three for far, and honestly I don’t know what the writers are going to do until we get the scripts. I hear where it may be going, but they change their minds a lot.

We already know you have some sort of fling with her.

Well, if you bring an attractive female of note onto our program, odds are she will be rolling around with me.

What is her character like?

Well, she’s a monster in real life. No, she’s shockingly pleasant, and it’s been a delight to work with her. Her character, as we know, is Nancy’s ob-gyn, and she’s very nurturing and very good at what she does. And then she becomes fascinated and interested in the goings-on with Nancy and the rest of us, and she wants to see what happens next. But she doesn’t have anything to do with any illicit activities, except for—well, you’ll have to watch.

We hear she gets nude in an episode. Do dish.
I read that as well. I have no idea where that info comes from. It may or may not be true. I haven’t asked her, “Hey, I read on the Internet that you’re going to be nude. I hope I’m going to be there.” But I will say it’s a good sign that stuff gets printed that is not in any way related to the truth— like Mary-Louise leaving the show. It means we’re of note at this point.

Last we saw, Doug (Kevin Nealon) and Silas (Hunter Parrish) were talking about opening a pot store. Does that happen?
Yes. Indeed, Silas and Doug do start a medicinal marijuana dispensary this year. It goes pretty strong. This one is a pretty lengthy storyline. But you know what’s funny, there’s not a lot of pot smoking going on onscreen this season.

What about offscreen?
I’ll tell you the truth, there is less pot smoking on the set of Weeds than most jobs I’ve had. It’s a pretty chaste place.

Where does the story with Andy and Nancy go?
I don’t know what’s going to happen. But I like exploring that world. I would like that relationship to go on. I think their relationship, whether it’s consummated or not, remains to be seen. But it’s one that is a lot of fun to do, and I like working with Mary-Louise, so I hope it goes on. Sometimes it’s heartbreaking and sometimes it’s funny.

What about Andy and Jennifer Jason Leigh’s character, Jill? You hooked up last time we saw her—what’s next?
It will go further. She’s only with us for another episode, so we only have sex five more times that you see. We would love to have her back. There’s always a chance of people returning.

What can you tell us about Kate del Castillo’s character?
She is a hard-core woman who does not seem to be particularly thrilled with Nancy’s presence. And I believe it gets in the way of Esteban’s burgeoning political career.

Who else might be returning?

Actually, we have an old Weeds favorite who returns to the show this year. I was so excited to see that in the script. There, that’s a big spoiler.

So, which past Weeds favorite do you think is returning? Post your guesses in the comments below.

Weeds - Nancy-Celia Love Fest

Posted by: admin | Comments (0)

Weeds is back and better than ever. (Babies, undying love confessions and mani-pedis with drug lords, hello?)

The Showtime mega-hit returned last Monday with the start of what promises to be an explosive fifth season and as promised, we’re here with part two of our exclusive interview with the one and only Weeds vixen, Ms. Mary-Louise Parker.

This time we’re bringing you all of the scoop you can handle on season five’s ginormous guest stars and that little lady stuck on the wrong side of the border…what is her name again?

Oh, that’s right…

La Cucaracha Celia: Despite her seemingly perilous situation, Nancy’s best frienemy is going to be OK. Mary-Louise reassures fans of Celia’s safety, saying, “Celia’s like a cockroach; you can’t stamp her out.” Amazing. Just ignore the flirtation between everyone’s favorite screwup and her Mexican captor. “It doesn’t really go anywhere,” says MLP. As for Elizabeth Perkins (Celia), the star could not be more complimentary. “I think she’s a genius and I don’t throw that word around. She is one of the best actresses I’ve ever worked with in my whole life,” boasts Mary-Louise. “I couldn’t have drawn up and invented a better costar. I just wish I had more scenes with her.” So do we! Any chance for a Nancy-Celia filled extravaganza? “We’re always asking for more scenes, but they always seem to have different ideas for us.” We’ll keep our fingers crossed.

Medicinal Marijuana Mishap? It’s too soon to tell what’s going to happen with Silas and Doug’s plan to open a medical marijuana dispensary, but we can only imagine if Doug (Kevin Nealon) is involved it’s bound to be a doozy. So is Nancy going to want in on the new pot venture? Mary-Louise says nay. “I don’t think so. In general, she dreams bigger than that. It’s too safe and simple for her. [Her] things are generally more dangerous and have higher risk to them.” It’s good to know that even impending motherhood won’t change our beloved Nance. This sentiment was reinforced when MLP told us, “She’s not going to turn into a housewife. I don’t think she’ll be satisfied staying at home gardening.”

The Long Lost Sister: Why is the incomparable Jennifer Jason Leigh only in two episodes of Weeds? Why?! One thing’s for sure—Mary-Louise is all for the thesp coming back on board. “We’re a tight group and have been together for so long, but she could just step in and it would be like she’d always been here.” So there’s hope for more of that wonderfully painful “sister-love”? “Jill’s the kind of character who should just always be there. I really liked doing those scenes with her. She’s a cool person and everyone likes her. It’s just refreshing to be around. I wish she had more, but they said she might come back which I’m hoping for.”

Busiest Lady Around Town: We caught MLP just as she was about to jet off to Paris and now we have some scoop on yet another project she has in the works. (Does she ever have time to sleep?) This time around Mary-Louise chatted about the upcoming flick in which she costars with a Tinseltown legend and our favorite preggo receptionist saleswoman, Jenna Fischer. “I’m in the movie called Solitary Man with Michael Douglas. It was nice to work with him. He’s not too shabby and he’s a perfect gentleman.” No release date for this one yet, so we’ll keep you posted.

Anyone else dying to visit the set of Weeds as much as we are? Apparently it really is a big ol’ love fest. We’ll meet you there, but first let us know what you think…
